Bahmni’s own project wiki lists a set of inpatient-department features — drug charts and medication administration records, nurse dashboards, ward views, and discharge summaries — under active development rather than as long-settled, universally deployed capability. This is the project’s own characterization of its maturity, not an external critique, and is the basis for this paper’s caution that Bahmni is “closer than OpenMRS alone to a deployable hospital system out of the box, but ‘closer’ is not ‘there.’”
